I think I have hit three now and it never gets any easier...one was down the road from us and I always think of it, even though it has been a few years...Matt always says, "Just drive, Mom, the squirrel would have been long dead by now anyway." Not helpful in the least. I always slow to a snail's pace at that part in the road and my boys just roll their eyes because I usually say, "In respect for the little squirrel who lost his life here...."
