Tonight, Project: Dinner led me to try adapting my Broccoli, Chicken & Rice Casserole from the oven to the slow cooker. It's been cooking all afternoon and it smells so good.
I went over to peek through the lid of the cooker and looked at the casserole merrily bubbling away...and then I looked again.
I discovered that it's going to be difficult to serve my family Broccoli, Chicken & Rice Casserole this evening, mostly because I forgot the broccoli. I have it cooking in the microwave right now and plan to sneak it under the cover and pretend like it was there all along.
Thank goodness for that clear glass lid.
